Maharashtra (DLN): Staff Selection Commission (Western Region) invites applications for recruitment 2010 of Assistant Foreman. Last date for receipt of applications is 12th Nov 2010.

1. Assistant Foreman (Mechanical) in the department of Controllerate of Naval Armament Inspection, Mumbai: 18 posts in Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 GP Rs.4600. Age limit is 30 years.

2. Assistant Foreman (Ammunition) in the department of Naval Armament Inspection, Mumbai: 13 posts in Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800 GP Rs.4600. Age limit is 30 years.

Application fee is Rs.50. No fee is required for Women/ SC/ST/PH and EXS. Fee should be submitted through Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) only. CRFS are available at head post office all over the country.

Candidates are required to submit application in prescribed format. Envelop containing application should be superscribed as “Application for the posts of ……………….. ” for candidates from far-flung areas) Applications should be sent to “the Office of the Regional Director,Staff Selection Commission, (Western Region), 1st Floor, Pratishtha Bhavan, 101, MK Road, Mumbai-400020”. Last date for far flung areas is 19th Nov 2010.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION : Written Examination. Paper-IQuestions in both papers will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. Questions will be set in Hindi and English in Parts A, B and C of Paper I. Deduction of 0.25 mark will be made for each incorrect answer marked on OMR Answer Sheet.
NOTE-I: Candidates are not permitted to use Mobile Phone, Calculators or any other electronic/electrical device for answering any paper (Test Booklets). Candidates must not, therefore, bring Mobile Phone, Calculators or any other electronic /electrical device inside the Examination premises. Possession of these items, whether in use or not, will be considered as “use of unfair means” in the Examination and appropriate action will be taken by the Commission against such candidates, as per extant policy of the Commission.
NOTE-II: The Commission will not take cognizance of representations, regarding the content of the Examination received later than fifteen days of the Examination.
