Announcement of admission for one year B.Ed. (Special Education) for the session 2011-12, recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India and Noted by NCTE offered by Department of Adult, Continuing Education and Extension (DACEE) in the specialization

1. Loco Motor Impairment & Neuromuscular Disorder in collaboration with Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy (IICP), Kolkata. (Extension of RCI approval awaited)
2. Mental Retardation in collaboration with Monovikas Kendra, Kolkata

Application Form and Information Brochure will be available from our website www.jaduniv.edu.in from 08.06.2011. Last date of submission of duly filled in Application Form at the Dept. of Adult Continuing Education & Extension in person or by Post on or before 20.06.2011 along with a Demand Draft of Rs.100/- (preferably from S.B.I.) in favour of ‘Jadavpur University’ payable at Kolkata. Eligibility: Graduate from recognized University. Date of Admission Test: 27.06.2011 at 11.30 A.M. Interview for outstation candidates on 27.06.2011 and for local candidates on 28.06.2011 in the Dept. of Adult Continuing Education & Extension.

Selection List will be published on 04.07.2011 in the Dept. of A.C.E.E and also in the Office of Principal Secretary, Faculty Council of Engg. & Tech., J.U. at 2 P.M. Date of Admission will be 04.07.2011 – 08.07.2011 from 11.30 A.M. to 1.30 P.M. in the Office of the F.E.T., J.U. (except Saturday and Holiday) Reporting and Selection List for Wait Listed Candidate: 13.07.2011 at 1 P.M. in the Dept. of ACEE. Admission for Wait Listed Candidate: 14.07.2011 – 15.07.2011. Course Fees:Rs.20,000/- annually to be paid at the time of admission + admission fee Rs.1,150/-. Full/Half Free Studentship (Tuition Fee only) on merit cum Means Basis as per University Rule and Reservation for SC/ST/PD as per Govt. Rule. Hostel facilities for women are available at IICP. Class starts from 19.07.2011. Timing of the Class (for Loco Motor Impairment and Neuromuscular Disorder): 9.30 A.M. to 4.30 P.M. (Monday to Friday) Course Venue: I.I.C.P., P-35/1 Taratolla Road, Kolkata 700 088. Timing of the Class (for Mental Retardation): 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. (Monday to Friday). Course Venue: Monovikas Kendra, 482 Madhudah, E.M. Bye Pass, Kolkata 700 107. It is to be noted that Ragging is Prohibited as per the decision of the Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition No. (C)656/1998.
